1. Estimates

All estimates provided by BH Basulto Land Clearing LLC are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions, scope, or property access differs from what was originally observed. Written estimates are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise noted.

2. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure scheduling on jobs over a certain size or duration. Deposits are non-refundable once equipment has been mobilized or work has commenced. The remaining balance is due upon completion unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

3. Property Access

The customer is responsible for providing safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the work area, including gates, driveways, and clearance for heavy equipment. Any delays or damage caused by inadequate access are not the responsibility of BH Basulto Land Clearing LLC.

4. Underground Utilities Responsibility

The customer must identify and disclose the location of all underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation, electrical lines, propane tanks, and similar infrastructure prior to the start of work. We recommend contacting Miss Utility (811) before any clearing begins. BH Basulto Land Clearing LLC is not liable for damage to undisclosed or unmarked underground installations.

5. Weather Delays

Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather conditions including but not limited to heavy rain, snow, ice, lightning, frozen ground, or unsafe site conditions. We will make every reasonable effort to communicate schedule changes promptly.

6. Change Orders

Any changes to the agreed scope of work — including additional acreage, additional services, or modifications requested on site — must be documented in writing. Additional charges will apply and must be approved before work continues.

7. Limitation of Liability

BH Basulto Land Clearing LLC's liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost use of property, loss of business, or third-party claims.

8. Material Disposal Policy

Forestry mulching grinds vegetation in place and leaves it on the property as natural mulch — no hauling required. For services requiring removal of debris (full land clearing, stump removal, etc.), disposal or hauling fees may apply unless explicitly included in the estimate.

9. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise stated in writing. Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, and major credit cards. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees and collection charges. The customer is responsible for any costs associated with collecting unpaid balances.

10. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for clearly marking property lines, identifying trees or vegetation that must be preserved, and securing any required permits. The customer also agrees to keep people, pets, and vehicles a safe distance from the active work area at all times.

11. Project Scheduling

Project start dates are estimates and may shift based on weather, equipment availability, and prior job timelines. We strive to communicate any scheduling changes as early as possible.

12. Safety

Safety is our top priority. Our crew follows industry-standard safety protocols, wears appropriate personal protective equipment, and operates only well-maintained equipment. The customer agrees to keep the work zone clear of unauthorized persons during operation.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the county in which the work was performed.
